1. Information We Collect

GutPal collects information you provide directly: your gut health profile including conditions (IBS, IBD, SIBO, etc.), trigger foods, allergies, dietary preferences, and pantry items. We also collect your Apple ID sign-in token for authentication.

2. Health Data

Your gut profile and meal preferences are stored securely in our database (Supabase) to generate personalized meal plans. This data is used solely to provide GutPal's meal planning service.

3. AI Processing

Meal plans are generated using Google Gemini AI. Your profile data is sent to Gemini to generate relevant meal suggestions. Your data is not used to train AI models.

4. Use of Information

We use your information to generate personalized gut-safe meal plans, improve our service, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage and secure API connections to protect your data.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app.
